Tammy was born and raised in the Lower Mainland of BC.  She got a very early start working in law firms beginning as a support clerk while still attending high school and, upon graduation, continuing in various support roles with increasing responsibilities.  While working in a legal secretarial capacity in the area of personal injury, Tammy returned to school and obtained her Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from Douglas College in 1995.  A few years later in 2001, Tammy obtained her Paralegal Diploma from Vancouver Community College and continued to focus her career on ICBC defence work.  That shifted in 2009 when she began working with Derek Mah.  Together they focus on the Plaintiff side, and only represent people who have been injured.

Tammy now has more than 24 years of experience in ICBC defence work and Plaintiff personal injury.  As a senior paralegal, she supervises the client intake process to ensure all files are managed timely and efficiently, which includes implementation of Part 7 benefits, document production, preparing lists of documents, drafting pleadings and trial preparation.

Tammy is actively involved in her community, whether playing recreational hockey or cheering on and assistant coaching her son’s multiple sport activities.  She participates in the annual Hockey Helps the Homeless tournament which raises funds for Vancouver’s homeless.
